<p>This is a further adventure of Inspector Jack Hedge</p><p>as he grapples with the problem of his identity until</p><p>he realises he does not need one. Meanwhile he</p><p>has been sent abroad (there's a lot of abroad!)</p><p>supposedly on a case but he suspects more likely</p><p>to get rid of him in the most expedient way. There</p><p>are two sides to every question and this pertains to</p><p>the silent war between various elements of the</p><p>Secret Service in England.</p><p><br></p><p>The original Inspector Hedge book I wrote over fifty</p><p>years ago in eight days. It has only recently been</p><p>published under the title of INVITATION TO A</p><p>PLAGUE. It involves a top secret Govt Germ</p><p>Warfare experiment that went disastrously wrong</p><p>with the latent danger of the virus Code Name</p><p>Green Swan spreading into the community indeed</p><p>across the world. Inspector Hedge was sent into a</p><p>clinic disguised as a patient to investigate but any</p><p>conclusions he may have reached have been</p><p>suppressed by some and encouraged by others in</p><p>the silent war between the services. Who is on</p><p>which side? We still don't know...</p><p><br></p><p>Which brings us to the sequel I have only recently</p><p>penned.
