The Rob Dog Story

From a very young age I was passionate about owning a dog; in fact the whole family wanted a dog: Except for dad.<p>Eventually after years of cajoling imagine my absolute delight when Dad agreed to get me a dog for my 12th birthday.</p><p>At the dog rescue centre I chose 'Robbie' a spirited young Border Collie who had been surrendered by his owners after they had a baby.</p><p>Robbie was a reluctant choice for some members of the family; fearing he was too boisterous and energetic but I knew he was the right one and over time not least because of his mischievous antics he became cherished by us all.</p><p>This is his heart-warming story as told by mum his constant companion and protector right to the end and always.</p>
