The Rose Possessed

<p>Kirsten's <em>The Rose Possessed </em>is like a bag of M&Ms: you munch down one and you can't stop until it's all gone! It's like a sweet plump plum juicy and full of rich garden goodness. It's a book that is not shy about its ambitions to begin a revolution and she just might get it! Her first poem The Seedling is the initial bite that begins all the rest. When you read this poem you know they're going to stand the test of time. It'll be an archeologist's dream.</p><p>The seedling lifts her teeny tiny face to the giants that deny her the sunshine's grace and asks in a voice so sweet so shy What is the sun? What is the sky? Would you let me see it please before I shrivel up and die?</p><p>A mighty tree looks down in disdain at the little sprout that cried for rain. And then shrugs his mighty boughs aside and says Just one little look before you're dead.</p><p>Well other acts of poetry move over 'cause Kirsten's coming over! And welcome folks to the show.</p>
