The Royal Sargam

A classic thriller set in India’s royalty “Royal Sargam” deals with a conspiracy in the palace. The ghastly death of a Pakistani ghazal singer on a goodwill visit is followed by a hunting accident in which American financier Stanley Morgan is nearly killed. The suspicion falls on Sir Balraj Thakur who has rented the palace for the occasion. He is involved in a three-way battle for mining rights with Morgan and London steel tycoon Karan Pasricha. When separatists start agitating the Maharaja is at his wit’s end. He calls in India’s own Sherlock Col. Pratap Swaraj to investigate the case. His trail leads to the fashionable “Sargam Club” which has become the musical hot spot for the MTV generation. Princess Sarojini and her two suitors Rahul and Rohan turn it into a dashing adventure as they try to unravel the mystery.
