The Saints’ Everlasting Rest is Richard Baxter’s most well-known book and was widely read by earlier generations of Christians. Drawing on the biblical description of Heaven as a Rest for believers he highlights many of the wonders of the eternal realm and movingly appeals to those who have no experience of the grace of God to consider the terrors of hell.. Originally published in 1650 this work was abridged in 1758 by Benjamin Fawcett. This edition has been completely re-typeset in preparation for issue as an eBook.
