The Sandinista Revolution and its Heroic Defense

Every revolution has its counter-revolution according to sociologists. To every action corresponds a reaction say physicists. The Popular Sandinista Revolution (RPS) that triumphed on July 19 1979 also had its respective counterrevolution which created and supported by the US government began through the Central Intelligence Agency to regroup the remains of the defeated National Guard dispersed in Guatemala El Salvador and Honduras as early as August of the same year removing the Somoza family from the scene to carry out its first military actions in December 1979.
