In Japan the islands of the Seto Inland Sea (Seto.uchi) are rapidly becoming depopulated. This book tells the story of a collective project the creation of a pavilion and its garden in one of them: Ibukijima. Produced in 2016 as part of the Seto.uchi Triennial which seeks to counteract this island senescence it highlights the virtues of a constructive ecology based on recycling and the use of local resources.
