The Scared Cat

Mary stood by the fence eyes searching for a kitten she adored. Mummy look! she exclaimed spotting a cat at the fence's far end. Can I pet it? she asked eagerly. No it's a street cat her mother replied. Mary pleaded but was interrupted by a familiar voice Hi Mary. It was Lucy her old friend joined by her cousin Laura and Laura's friend Clara. The four girls greeted each other warmly excited to reunite and catch up.
