Effect of Seed Soaking Treatments on Growth Yield and Quality of Baby Corn (Zea mays L.). This study explores the impact of various seed soaking treatments on the growth yield and quality of baby corn (Zea mays L.) with the aim to enhance agricultural practices for improved productivity and profitability. The primary objectives of this research were to determine how seed soaking influences the growth of baby corn to assess its effect on overall yield and to evaluate its contribution to the quality of the harvested cobs. The NAA treatment also led to a remarkable increase in cob yield both per plant and per hectare along with improved cob quality including higher sugar content and protein levels. Overall the findings underscore the effectiveness of seed soaking with NAA 50 ppm as an innovative approach to not only enhance the growth and yield of baby corn but also to improve its nutritional quality offering valuable insights for maximizing agricultural output and ensuring greater profitability for farmers.
