The Scream and Other Dark Stories explores the shapes that form in the shadows the ones we cant bring ourselves to look at. The trauma that is passed through the secrets families keep. The darkness that we all carry within us trying so hard to hide desperate to shelter from those we love only to have it devour us from within.The fissure would begin in her mind deep inside where she kept her darkness. From there it would spread like lava seeps through a volcanos vent; fiery veins opening and swallowing the animals and the earth and her joy.
