The Secret of Angel Island

<p>The second in the series of books about the Life of Lieutenant Benjamin Burrows RN. This adventure is set in the Caribbean during the Napoleonic wars at a time when Britannia ruled the waves and other nations looked on in envy.</p><p>Slavery is being outlawed by Britain but many of her adversaries still want to persist with the trade. Ben's ship is set the task of stopping them a difficult almost impossible job for one ship in such a huge ocean.</p><p>Life in the navy is hard and dangerous and despite some close shaves Ben has survived and risen to second lietenant on the frigate Adventurer.</p><p>The ghosts of pirates still haunt the seas and Ben is convinced he has a genuine treasure map that belonged to Captain Kidd but he needs an angel to show him the way.</p>
