In this book de Montfort explains the wonderful spiritual effects which true devotion to Mary brings about in a person's life.</p><p>It is primarily an interior practice to be carried out daily from moment to moment and if followed faithfully it will help to cultivate in the individual a profound sense of holiness.  In his 1987 encyclical <em>Redemptoris Mater</em> the Pope cited Saint Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort as a teacher of Marian spirituality.</p>
