Giving that the modern man seem to have forgotten what it means to exist Soren Kierkegaard through this dialectic theory of the self attempts to provide a therapeutic authentic education that recovers the significance of unique individuality and discloses the way to authentic selfhood. Kierkegaard’s education on the self points beyond itself by teaching that the end of life is not merely aesthetic but in decision absolute decision. This maieutic calls us not only to acknowledge what we are but to imagine what we might be and to become what we are not.
