The Servant of Two Masters

<p>Silvio wants to marry Clarice who has to marry Signor Federigo who's really Beatrice in disguise who's come to Turin to find her love Florindo and the whole sorry mess is about to get a whole lot sorrier when Florindo and Beatrice both unknowingly hire the same servant-the brilliantly useless Truffaldino of Bergamo... who's in love with Clarice's servant Smeraldina. </p><p>Carlo Goldoni's <em>The Servant of Two Masters</em> is one of the masterpieces of commedia dell'arte and Nick Enright and Ron Blair's adaptation has become something of an Australian classic in its own right.</p>
