The Set Up

<p>It was surreal yet Carl found himself living in what we will refer to as The Last Days. However it wasn't just a few days; it had been years. One night God visited Carl and instructed him to write a book near the end of this period which would be titled The Set Up. God revealed to Carl a life that appeared unbearable-a life that was his own. He showed Carl images of global events that were to unfold and they were horrifying. These images from Carl's dream have since become reality and now The Set Up exists.</p><p></p><p></p><p>So consider Carl a Black Gay man from the Bible Belt and his inspiring testimony. As a teenager Carl attended church regularly with his divorced mother. He often felt ostracized because the pastor frequently declared that homosexuals were destined for hell. This negative influence affected Carl but he still held onto his love for God. He wondered however if God truly loved him. Carl would soon discover the truth through a series of trials and tribulations. He faced racism job termination incarceration sexual assault HIV/AIDS and mental illness but emerged from these experiences stronger in faith and gave birth to The Set Up.</p><p></p><p>Great Read!</p><p>Honest open and raw!
