2005The party had concluded at 1 A.M. after which according to Jane a friend of Alison they had taken a taxi together. The driver had dropped Jane first just about a mile or so from Alison’s house. That was at about 1:20 in the morning. Not wanting to be alone with the driver Alison had decided to walk.
