Through a series of events and research Peaslee gradually uncovers the truth behind his lost time and discovers that his consciousness has been transported to a distant past—a time long before humanitys recorded history. In this ancient era he encounters strange and powerful extraterrestrial beings known as the Great Race of Yith who possess the ability to transfer their consciousness across time and space.
