About The Author: I am an orthopaedic technologist by profession and training.having worked for over twenty years with the department of health at the university hospital Royal victoria hosptal in Banjul the Gambia A country that is my home. I was born in a small village called Jula- kunda which is profoundly known to be the bath place of the founder of the district of kiang Jula-farrI was educated at kiang Karataba primary school and moved to secoundary school in the district headquarters at Mansa-konko where i spent four years. I finnaly studied at the st Peters technical high school in Kombo Lamin.I went to collages in Brazil sponsored by world Rehab. fund under the New york university medcal centre in 1982.In 1984 I was sponsored to study rehabilitation and Leprosy control at the world health traning centre in Addis Ababa Ethiopia.In 1990 I did an advance diploma( HND) in orthopaedic technology with the university of Muhimbili in Tanzania at the faculty of midicine based in Kilimanjaro Christian Medical centre in Moshi Tanzania East Africa.In 2001 I moved to the UK where I worked in various disiplines over the years notably with the NHS and later with some health care agencies having been attached to the national probation services for some long periods of time. I do part time work for some private hospitals in mental health as a support worker.I am now living in walsall in the midlands near Birminham.
