The Sign of the Chief

When two boys Korali and David literally stumble across the remains of an old canoe it is the beginning of an exciting but terrifying adventure. The traditional ceremony used by Solomon Islanders Koralis pagan ancestors to launch such canoes involves a magic spell. Transported into the past the two friends find themselves stranded in danger caught up in tribal warfare. Is it magic or is there a rational explanation? The experience is to have a profound effect on their friendship.
