Sue had worked along side her dad and the hands to help build the ranch up and maintain it. Why had her dad given it to some stranger? Why had her dad died? Was he murdered? There were so many questions and not many answers. The new owner Jim was a very capable man. The hands trusted him. Who was trying to kill Sue and Jim? There had been several attempts on their lives. There had been attempts to take over or destroy the ranch. The old hands and the new hands worked together to protect the ranch and the ranch house.
