Apart from representing India A Unmukt is also part of India Under-23 North Zone Delhi and Delhi Daredevils teams. At age seventeen he was the youngest to play the Indian Premier League. The prolific batsman also led the India U-19 side to victory in the Asia Cup (2012) and two U-19 quadrangular series (2011 and 2012).Among the prominent awards that have come by his way in his cricketing career are the Castrol Best Junior Cricketer of the Year 2011-2012 and the CEAT Indian Youngster of the Year 2012.
