The Social Worker

He's trained he's experienced and he deals with everything from a ninety-three year old man who wants to end his life to a teenage kid willing to be shot down in the streets. He deals with mothers and lawyers and judges and parole officers and drug dealers and jealous psychotic killers as well as the people who populate each of their lives. He deals with the stresses and compromises and failures that surround them and his work and his life itself. Sometimes he and they win more often they do not.
