The Soil That Raised Me

<p>In this collection Watters weaves together tranquility sweetness nostalgia (just a little) patience humility and a deep appreciation for nature. Elements of the quotidian and physical world (storms clouds garden implements worms birds) are spoken with affection and care as if they're his friendly neighbors. Reading these poems helps me slow down take a deep breath let it out slowly-and listen.
