The Special Gift Fairy

If we encourage children to; focus on their strengths ask for help try new things and appreciate their differences they can develop a healthy self esteem.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)></span><span style=color: rgba(32 33 36 1)>Children comparing themselves to others is a part of normal human behavior. But what can happen is they notice not just differences but that one person has more and one person has less. They start to see not having something as meaning they are not enough: good enough intelligent enough or even kind enough.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style=color: rgba(27 27 27 1)>The fairy brings an element of magic into this story.  Believing in magic helps children have a more flexible and curious mindset. They can then create a sense of wonder when reflecting on their special gift. </span><span style=color: rgba(32 33 36 1)>These traits help develop a growth-mindset which allows for possibility creativity and overall happiness.</span></p>
