<p>The Spirit is in the Room provides an easy-to-digest presentation of eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and the unique way the author integrates multiple theoretical frameworks and methodologies in her work.  </p><p>It's a glimpse of the good work that can happen in the counseling room including examples of different client moments where the author saw God at work. </p><p>The book aims to encourage therapists to utilize EMDR to show skeptics that EMDR therapy is not antithetical to Christian faith and to illustrate to the general public how EMDR imagination and creativity can be game changers in healing and transformation.</p>
