Meet Ensign Amelia Brown. Shes assigned to the Naval spacecraft USSS Midway and is tasked with investigating a particularly gruesome murder that occurred onboard. For reasons shes not privy to her orders are to move the investigation to a remote and barely civilized mining outpost.To complicate matters Amelias fellow investigators include a hunky Marine she shares a romantic past with and a confident ex-Navy SEAL who she doesnt quite trust.Trudging through the rainforest to reach the mining caves tests each crew members stamina and wits.
