The Stones of Yemen

<p>This is a story about bereavement love loss and hope set on the backdrop of Yemen's civil war. On August 9 2018 a Saudi Arabian jet dropped an American-made bomb onto a Yemeni school bus killing forty boys under the age of ten. While a historical event in this fictionalized account the protagonist American physician associate Bryan Rogers who came to Yemen on a medical peace mission after losing his own father in the 9/11 attack 16 years earlier rushes to help with the casualties only to discover that one of the dead was the only son of his dear friend. Soon after in retaliation of the American-made bomb anti-American sentiment sweeps their valley. Meanwhile due to Bryan's friend's inconsolable grief he is recruited by the terrorists for an act of retribution against America. Bryan is the only one who can stop him. Bryan chases his friend around the world in his sailboat.</p>
