The Story Of A Prison Wife

<p><span style=color: rgba(34 34 34 1)>Sept 1/2005 seemed to be a day like any other. I had just breast fed given my newborn baby a bath put his sleeper on and laid him down to sleep. Seconds later I heard a heavy knock at the basement door. To my surprise as I open the door there stood 2 men casually dressed with badges in hand. Ma'am you have to come with us your boyfriend had just been arrested. I told them I had a newborn baby and that I didn't want to go. Ma'am you have no rights to refuse and you have to come with us. I was brought to the police station locked in a small cold room with my newborn son. Interrogated for hours. We just started our life together with a baby added to the equation just 28 days prior. Nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to experience.  </span></p>
