The Story of Leif and Hailee

The Story of Leif and Hailee is a tale of passionate love when intimacy across racial boundaries was illegal. Leif the young man is a visitor from a land where racial prejudice and discrimination are considered debased notions associated with Hitler and concentration camps. Hailee a young beautiful black woman is raised where interracial love is branded as perverted and a crime against the superior white race. The laws are strict and upheld by the official law enforcement agencies as well as by fanatical guardians of racial purity and white supremacy who do not hesitate to kill to maintain order and decency in America. But even in the American South of 1962 love cannot be rooted out by legal edicts.
