The Sweet Life

<p>This is a book of favorites. We all have them yours mine and ours. That special something that may transport you to a different place in time bringing back memories of a special occasion or just a sweet moment shared with a friend over a cup of coffee.</p><p><br></p><p>For me food is intrinsically linked with love and connection. It pleases me to make someone's favorite and see their eyes light up with anticipation of that first bite. It is soul-satisfying to give that happiness to people. </p><p><br></p><p>So what follows is a beginning a small compilation of pastries and desserts that are favorites to many people I've had the pleasure to bake for over the years. Much love and gratitude goes out to all those whom have given me their support and encouragement here in Ojai with a special nod to the Thacher community in particular. Thanks to my darling family- Jude Ashley Garner and Graham for always giving me their love. And a very special thanks to my photographer Richard Lancaster my real life James Bond!
