The Tale of a Hopeful Seed : A Tale told through 25 Poems

From its humble beginnings as a primary level creative writing project the book took shape with multiple voices centering on the word: seed. Each of the 25 poems uses the word ‘seed’ as a metaphor of life ready to be sown until it achieves its true potential. Featuring the works of students and their language mentors from Key Stages 1-5 at The Ardee School Gurugram this poetry book seeks to foreground the belief that no matter the age each voice lends itself to the true nature of one’s own potential. No matter the difference in terms of experience and worldview each voice embodies itself with the belief that every individual retains a burst of life in him/her waiting to emerge. All this time it has been waiting to unfurl and live just like a seed.
