Robert Lewis Hereford led an exciting life during an interesting time in the history of the western United States. He was born into the Virginia planter class but said every man had to make his own way. He started his adult journey as a steamboat clerk on the Ohio River. From there he headed west and later married a Native American woman. They had 15 children. It was a violent time in the history of the American West and he was associated with several murders. This book covers his life adventures and family.
