The Talking Shadow

The shadow is portrayed in the story as a living character named Shadow. To the girl's surprise this shadow can talk! She notices that the shadow goes everywhere she goes and does everything she does so she tries to outsmart the shadow. Though she is initially annoyed with the shadow she finally realizes that they can be friends.</span></p>
