The book is short and readable but densely packed with important observations and ideas all very useful in the dark world that we live in.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Few works better point to the innate contradictions falsehoods and weaknesses that characterize modern ideologies and threaten human existence than does this book. One may ask what caused a man so well informed to alter his social and political perspective in favor of a conception of human life (individual as well as communal) utterly opposed to the stock-in-trade preconceptions of Marxist thinking at all levels.
