As usual Beelzebub has ulterior motives for sending her to that location. The Between is where Purgatory exists; the stopover for billions of souls not yet assigned to eternal placement in either Hell or The Above. His mandate to</p><p>her: study these Indeterminates and devise a strategy to siphon off the souls that belong in Hell.</p><p></p><p>In the midst of this impossible undertaking Tarantula learns that Beelzebub has been accused of high treason and imprisoned by Lucifer's Fire Guard. This shocking news sparks a thorny alliance within an adversarial group of demons and angels.
