Four young teens that are growing up on the urban streets of NewYork City are faced with life in prison for a murder that they did not commit. The teens are forced with the problem of staying together and surviving in the walls of the prison. The play depicts the lifestyle of the average American family. The play shows everyday problems such as drug abuse being raised by a single parent with no father. The play shows how to deal with the death of close ones. When Terrell Hughes loses hisuncle due to drug abuse he faces the struggle of trying to survive while being overloaded with bills and utilities. As the play reaches the end it shows just how important friendship and family is when it comes to struggle.
