The Thorn and the Throne

The Thorn and the Throne is set in an alternate dimension where Africa known as Alkebulan remains a united and powerful superstate untainted by colonialism. The central conflict revolves around the mystical Simbarashe ring a divine artifact that grants its bearer immense power and the ability to control celestial forces. The story follows King Jabulani and his family particularly his son Akachi who is destined to inherit the throne. As the kingdom is threatened by betrayal and the rise of the power-hungry Mateso the fate of Alkebulan hangs in the balance. With a backdrop of ancient prophecies mystical forces and political intrigue the tale explores the struggle for power legacy and the survival of a united empire.
