<p><strong><em>Behind the thrice-locked metal door a prison...and freedom</em></strong></p><p></p><p>My name is Charlotte Harrington which is the least important thing about me.</p><p></p><p>I wrote this book to catalogue the major events of my days trapped in the attic-the place where I lost my self and then found it again.</p><p></p><p>You might think these writings are a condemnation of my sanity but I am of an age which permits me to dismiss the judgment of others granting me the freedom to publish this work without deference to your opinions.</p><p></p><p>If anyone has lost their mind it is the buffalo. You will understand better when you see what it said.</p><p></p><p>Now you might have heard of me or at least seen my family name in the gossip columns. I assure you I have nothing to do with them.
