<p><strong>Blood festers in the elder lines.</strong></p><p>Nathan Hart suffers the consequences-enslaved beneath the Dwarven banner of House Savoy where he is made subject to its heir Magnus. Unfortunately the 'master' is a madman bent on the suffering of his thralls. Shackles and cruelty are the currency of the estate and Magnus spends both freely. Only one solace yet remains; Nathan has eluded the magical yoke that saps the strength of his fellow slaves.</p><p>And yet hope lies in unlikely places.</p><p>Buoyed by unexpected powers born of the mysterious System Nathan finds he possesses a curious Profession. With it he dreams of shattering the chains that bind his friends and allies. Though he is weak others are not and with their help the dream of freedom looms on the horizon.</p><p>But Nathan refuses to be the weight that drags them down.</p>
