The Three Comrades

The Novel Begins With Robert Returning Home From The War. He Is Disillusioned And Traumatized And He Struggles To Adjust To Civilian Life. He Meets Jozef A Former Soldier Who Is Also Struggling To Find His Way. The Two Men Become Friends And They Soon Meet Tomáš A Young Man Who Is Trying To Start A New Life After The War. The Three Friends Spend Their Days Driving A Taxi Together And Their Nights Drinking And Talking. They Form A Close Bond And They Support Each Other Through Their Shared Experiences. However Their Friendship Is Tested When They Meet Anna A Young Woman Who Is Also Struggling With The Aftermath Of The War. Anna Is Beautiful And Intelligent And She Quickly Attracts The Attention Of All Three Men. However She Is Also Damaged And Unstable And She Brings Chaos Into Their Lives. The Three Friends Are Torn Between Their Love For Anna And Their Loyalty To Each Other.
