The Story Follows Dr. Jonathan Wells A Brilliant But Somewhat Reclusive Physicist Who Stumbles Upon A Mysterious Mirror That Functions As A Portal Through Time. Unlike Traditional Time Machines The Mirror Reflects And Transports Individuals To Pivotal Moments In Their Own Lives Allowing Them To Observe And Potentially Alter Their Past Actions. As Dr. Wells Experiments With The Mirror He Becomes Increasingly Obsessed With Correcting His Past Mistakes Particularly Those Involving His Family And A Failed Romantic Relationship.
