The battles of Dunbar (September 1650) and of Worcester (September 1651) resulted in victory for Cromwell and defeat for the Royalists and Covenanters.</p><p>Thousands of prisoners were taken at both battles their story is one of hardship disease pain and humiliation. Jamie Dower was one of those prisoners his story is of determination and survival until he reaches a place where war is a thing of the past. </p>
