The Tree

<p>This short story describes the experience of a young tree as it grows into adulthood trying to answer the question Why am I here?. Written for all audiences this edition was illustrated by nine year-old Elise Kanter especially for children. It was written by a physician and practicing Buddhist for his father who was nearing the end of his life. At a time when we are surrounded by challenges and often struggle to find our place in the world The Tree is an emotionally moving and spiritually-touching story which reminds us that we are OK just as we are and that we are supported by and interconnected with all life. A story to read with your children or just on your own when you need a little reminder. In honor of the author's father all profits will support a violence prevention charity Futures without Violence.</p>
