The Tree Keeper

The Tree Keeper is a story about five children some of whom have special needs who embark upon a journey to the Tall Forest to find food for their families. Overcoming their limitations to reach a common goal they learn to work together by using the strengths that God gifted them with. Following the story some specific disabilities are discussed to teach a little bit about what to expect when raising or interacting with a child who has one of these special needs (Down syndrome albinism autism cerebral palsy or epilepsy). The Tree Keeper emphasizes that every child is made by God and is not a mistake.
