The Trophy Life

On the twenty-ninth of each month a New Yorker mysteriously disappears with only jumbles of letters left in their wake. The New York Police department isn't interested in a phantom kidnapper if there are no bodies. Detective Jess Tedesco thinks something more devious is going on. And she's right. Some of the worst crimes of the current landscape known as civilization are being committed. With the help of her band of colorful friends and confidantes Jess weaves her way through the morass of corruption both within the department and on the streets of New York City. The trail leads to some rich children shredded by the murder of their parents. That crime remains unsolved but the ramifications of this one doesn't afford that luxury.
