In the wake of companies' search for productivity gains and the increasing need for job flexibility we have now entered the era of work portability thanks to digital technology. A new form of activity has resulted: the intermediation of self-employment. Is this a sign of the evolution of the wage-earning system a back door allowing the giants of the economy in a context of globalization to free themselves from the protectionist barriers of labor law? Is it a new form of casualization of pauperization of society or on the contrary a liberalization of the economy through entrepreneurship? What are the social consequences for workers? States seem to be quite at a loss as to what decisions to make in the face of these many questions. Through the specific analysis of the Uber platform we will try to shed light on the economic and social transitions induced by platform work and find out how to give these new relationships a place that is commensurate with their inventiveness a framework that allows everyone to express their entrepreneurial freedom.
