The Ultimate Outsider

<p>My last day as an elected public official. I served as a County Commissioner for over 14 years in Franklin County Ohio. I was thinking of the work I did for county residents. I loved helping our residents get what they needed and it was a King Solomon decision to make. I was balancing family caregiving issues. Finally with the pandemic I lost the balance. Family took priority over work. </p><p>The issues I address in this book were ones I struggled to address for many years. I hope you gain understanding of how an outsider someone who has never fi t into the world around. them can make a difference in someone's life or in a community or workplace.</p><p>This is my story.</p><p>Some people lead with wisdom. Others with heart. Marilyn Brown does both-with purpose courage and a deep love for people and community.</p><p>Marilyn has spent a lifetime championing equity health and dignity-especially for those too often left out of the conversation. </p><p>From her decades of public service to her tireless advocacy behind the scenes she has helped shape a stronger more just and compassionate central Ohio. </p><p>The ripple effect of her work continues to amplify what's possible-and she's full steam ahead advancing critical reforms and showing up for the people who need it most.
