He had hundreds of articles in publications of his time on Platonic medical philosophic and hermetic subjects was editor of H.P. Blavatsky's Isis Unveiled and author of much of the Introductory chapter. Blavatsky held that only Wilder and Thomas Taylor had a deep intuition on Platonic subjects.
