The Unique Hamlet

<p><em>The Unique Hamlet</em> is a masterful pastiche that captures the spirit of Sherlock Holmes. Tasked with uncovering the mystery behind a supposed lost version of Shakespeare's play Holmes and Watson delve into a world of forgeries greed and cunning adversaries. This engaging tale combines literary intrigue with the timeless charm of Arthur Conan Doyle's iconic detective.</p><p>In 1920 Vincent Starrett privately printed The Unique Hamlet: A Hitherto Unchronicled Adventure of Mr. Sherlock Holmes.The edition is believed to have consisted of 110 copies of which about 50 are still known to exist among collectors. Starrett no stranger to fiction wrote extensively in the mystery field including the 1975 book <em>The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes</em>. He also created his own Chicago-based detective Jimmie Lavender whose stories are very much in the Holmes tradition.</p>
