The university on display

Cinema is known and promoted worldwide and is also one of the technologies of the network society that disseminates and propagates information. Numerous films preferentially highlight basic education but don't offer the same support for universities (where individuals develop in the knowledge society). In some situations it even provides erroneous portrayals of them. This book is made up of three parts the first of which introduces the university and describes its history and function as well as explaining the role of teachers and students. The next chapter explores the historical aspects of cinema addressing its particularities in education as well as its influence on society. Finally the third chapter highlights the research carried out and analyses the data from the investigation.
